“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you” Maya Angelou

It can be difficult taking the first step to seek out help when life seems unmanageable. However, it is often more difficult to work through the issues causing this disruption alone. Whether this is due to limited support in your life, or feeling that you have to take care of it yourself, you do not have to work through it alone.

I believe that in therapy, you have the opportunity to gain new insight you might have otherwise not considered. This is achieved through collaboration & using your therapist as a sounding board. I strive to create a safe & comfortable space where people feel they are able to discuss issues that impact their lives, as well as celebrate their triumphs. In sessions, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques based on each client’s needs, such as examining the effect of your thoughts on your mood & behavior, as well as mindfulness practices when appropriate. Sessions typically last 50-55 minutes & are focused on your specific needs.

I offer morning & afternoon sessions Monday through Friday. My office is handicapped accessible, private, warm and inviting, with ample parking available on site. Contact me today to schedule your first session!
