Cami Hubbard
Clinical Intern
Puyallup
Life is filled with stories; some we love to relive, and others we struggle to hold. My desire is to provide a space where all the stories and parts of yourself that make you who you are, are welcomed, honored, and given space. Richard C Schwartz notes, “parts are little inner beings who are doing their best to keep you safe.” Sometimes giving those stories or parts of yourself space to explore freely can bring you to a place of connection.
My approach mixes psychodynamic, client-centered, and somatic techniques to support clients. Through these approaches, we will work together to identify how the stories that make you *you,* have influenced who you have become and who you wish to be.
My background is in social services, where I have worked directly with people of all ages, from elementary school through adulthood. Most recently I have worked with those experiencing housing instability and supported families navigating the foster care system. My background influences how I see relationships and the importance of working toward connection with self, community and nature.
I am passionate about working with those navigating life transitions especially those within the perinatal and postpartum periods. Transitions can bring forth parts of ourselves we thought we worked through as well as parts we did not know existed. I look forward to meeting you where you are and supporting you in this journey called life.
