I have always been passionate about stories—both the ones I create and the ones shared with me. Counseling feels like a natural extension of that passion: a space where stories are honored as powerful tools for reflection and growth. When people feel safe enough to share their experiences, new perspectives can emerge—for both the storyteller and the listener—opening the door to deeper understanding and meaningful change. I see the counseling process as a collaborative journey of exploration, where your story is not only heard, but respected and thoughtfully examined.

My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that this is your show and that you are the master of your own experience. I integrate elements of CBT, DBT, and narrative therapy to help explore emotions, relational patterns, and the beliefs that shape your daily life. Together, we’ll build practical coping skills, establish supportive routines, and develop tools that align with your goals and values. I approach each client through a multicultural and holistic lens, recognizing the many layers—cultural, relational, emotional, and environmental—that influence well-being.

Before entering the counseling field I worked in education, with roles ranging from pre-K instructor to college advisor; experiences that strengthened my appreciation for development across the lifespan and the unique challenges faced at different stages of life. I also enjoy connecting through shared interests, including film, video games, music, and books, and I welcome incorporating pop culture as a creative and relatable bridge in our work together. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered; not just to process your story, but to actively author the next chapter with confidence and intention.
