Every life is a piece of art, put together with all means available.” – Pierre Janet
We are all shaped by our life experiences. These experiences include not only the things that have happened to us, but also how we feel about, make sense of, and react to life events. With this in mind, my role as your counselor will be to join you in curiosity as to how you developed your current way of being in the world and to support you in imagining and practicing new ways of being that promote your personal goals, improve your relationships, and foster a greater sense of alignment with your authentic self.
Some of our work together may include increasing self-knowledge and self-awareness, developing more helpful ways of coping with stress, building resilience, and understanding and addressing relational challenges. As your counselor, I will provide an empathic and nonjudgmental space for you to explore and express the truest version of yourself. Within our therapeutic relationship, we will co-create a safe space for you to learn about yourself, develop relational skills, and take emotional risks.
I am currently a clinical intern pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling at Northwestern University, with an expected graduation date of December 2025. I also hold an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Central Washington University with a minor in Reading & Literacy, and most recently, I owned and operated a small, independent bakery for over eight years. As a counselor who prioritizes multicultural competence and humility, I look forward to working with clients of all backgrounds. However you identify in regard to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, national origin, age, or ability—you are welcome in my office!
