Is my Insurance accepted?
We encourage you to contact your insurance provider before starting counseling to ensure that you will have mental health coverage for services at Northwest Counsel.
Northwest Counsel bills the following insurance providers:
Anthem
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Cigna
First Choice Health Plans
Healthcare Management Administrators
Kaiser
Regence Group Administrators
Regence
Uniform Medical Plan
If your insurer is not listed above, you may still move forward with services at Northwest Counsel, but will need to pay the full rate at the time of service. Many insurance companies will reimburse for counseling sessions at partial or full rates for out-of-network providers. Upon request, we are happy to provide you with superbills at regular intervals to submit to your out-of-network insurer for potential reimbursement.
How much do services cost out of pocket?
If you plan to pay privately without insurance:
- Intake session (initial session at 45-52 minutes) – $190
- Emergency or crisis session (45-52 minutes) – $190
- Individual session (53-60 minutes) – $170
Which forms of payment are accepted?

Credit/Debit cards (NWC does charge a credit/debit card processing fee, which can be avoided with other forms of payment)
- Cash
- Check
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP), with authorization code provided by the client
Is Couples/Marriage Counseling Provided?
Our highly trained therapists are honored to assist you in working through challenges within your relationship. Couples and marriage therapy sessions run 45-52 minutes and are billed at $190 per hour, payable at time of service.
